In order to start a Company in Chile, you must go through the following legal steps:
- Write down and Signing of the Company Constitution: In order to make your life easier, in ClypeusLex we take over the writing of the Company Constitution, along with the coordination for the signing of this document. Note that you must be present in order for this signing process to be completed.
- Extract and Publication: After that, an extract of the signed document must be Published in Chile’s Official Diary.
- Commerce Registry Inscription: Finally you must subscribe a different version of the Extract, a protocolarized one in the pertinent Registry Office, and finally you must get a Tax Number in the Tax Services Office.
There are some specific requisits in order to start a Company in Chile, those are:
- Being over 18 years old.
- Each one of the different members must have a Chilean Tax Number.
- If one of the different board members doesn’t have a Chilean Tax Number, it must be tramited through the pertinent authorities.
